I thought I would start a thread so people can talk about regular, run o' the mill, mundanity.
In my life currently, I am currently house hunting and hoping to move next month.
I also recently made myself proud by cycling all the way up an increadably steep hill on the way to work which I usually walk up, thanks to determination and a quick prayer to Thor.

Hmmm, the mundanity of humdrum everyday life. Up at 6 and out of the door by 6.45 for work. Back home by anywhere between 5.30 and 8.30pm depending on how busy the day is. Down the pub three or four times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. Just the usual stuff. Not exciting.

Just spent the last 30 mins chipping Cheerio’s off the breakfast bar that seem to have the consistency of industrial cement ( a daily activity on a school day ) my eldest informed me this morning that he wants to go to an audition on Sunday for Bugsy Malone so are Amber hunting on the beach is off ( come on darling do it for mummy ) hmmmmm not me lol! but Im now looking for a download of something he can sing so I will be crooning for the rest of the week with an 8 year old who may well change his mind on Sunday for a re run of Sponge Bob hay ho .The suns shining .

Yesterday i went to bed at around 8.30 am after nightshift, got up around 2.30, had brekkie, bumbled about a bit, went online, read a bit, saw to my menagerie. I usually watch a bit of tv or something or ring people up prior to showering and then going out to work around 8.15pm. My life's like that pretty much for 4 nights and then i get 4 nights off, which i usually spend visiting family and friends, shopping, cleaning (yuck!), watching DVDs, going online and sometimes going to the pictures or to a do or something. I tend to just visit people's houses or have them over to mine for a drink rather than going to the pub, but i used to do that a lot in the past. Today i had a treat as my mam had bought me a gift voucher for a hot stone massage for yule and i went for that this afternoon - it was LOVERLY! ;D

Is your mum pagan or supportive? She's not pagan but i dare say she'd be supportive - all she really knows is that i'm into "Anglo-saxon stuff" and that's about it really. ;D I reckon the hot stones would be very soothing for your back anyway - they kind of reinforce the relaxing effects of regular massage. All i wanted to do afterwards was drink water and sleep!

;D Just a fairly usual day today, up at 6.45am ( as usual ) the cat bounced her way up the bed just to make sure I was awake ;D I'm going to my friends for a pre lunch sherry and a natter when he gets back from church then it'll be lunch followed by a cosy afternoon watching his DVD's and drinking vast quantities of tea.

I've moved house I've been trying to find somewhere for a while no and I'be found a nice little flat in Tunstall. It's in desperate need of some paint but I'll soon have it looking nice. My girlfriend is currently a blurr with a broom. The house wights of the house are really nice. The ones in my previous house were a bit impish and kept hiding things.

Just catching up on neglected e-mails Went shopping this morning after doing friends housework and the Co-op had delivered it before I'd managed to get back, talk about a fast service ;D We're looking forward to seeing how much divi we'll have to share between us ( I get his shopping and mine together ) If it's a decent amount it might go on a few extras ready for when his sister visits from abroad later this year.

I've just stoked the fire up to a cosy blaze, put the oven on to warm through before dinner goes in and fed next door's cat. In 30 mins it will be time to nip over to my friend's for a mug of tea with sherry chaser and a catch up on the news and gossip from his church before coming back home for lunch and to watch a repeat of 'Allo 'Allo on BBC1 ;D

;DGot a new washing machine today, it took longer to take the 4 securing bolts and bungs out of the back to release the drum than it did to fit the pipes and plug it in ;D It's doing it's first wash and I can't resist looking at it every few minutes to see how far into the programme it's got.
